Continental Casualty Long Term Care Insurance Litigation - Murdock Goldenberg Schneider & Groh recently filed a nationwide class action on behalf of tens of thousands of individuals who purchased long term care policies from Continental Casualty (CNA). The lawsuit claims that Continental Casualty wrongfully denied coverage for elderly claimants relying upon a nonexistent requirement that a facility's nursing staff remain "on-site" 24 hours per day. The lawsuit also claims that Continental Casualty failed to properly evaluate claims for the Alternate Plan of Care benefit.
