Murdock Goldenberg Schneider & Groh, LPA operates under the following audit principles designed to deliver the highest quality product and service to the client:

  • Quality Personnel Perform Quality Audits
The Firm employs only highly educated and experienced EHS auditors. The Firm has developed a reputation for performing premium EHS audits and simply will not sacrifice audit quality by subjecting its clients to inexperienced auditors. The Firm is the sole source third-party auditor (United States, South America, Mexico, and the Far East) for one of the largest companies in the world, and provides audit services for several Fortune 500 Companies. These clients recognize that audit quality is directly related to quality personnel.

  • Provide Legal Perspective and Protection
The Firm introduces a unique and profound legal and technical perspective to its audits. Each audit is performed under the attorney-client privilege through the Firm's lawyer/engineer auditors in cooperation with corporate legal representatives.

  • Always be Cost-Effective
The Firm does not tolerate high overhead costs nor does it pass administrative upcharges on to its clients. The Firm provides well-educated and experienced attorneys and EHS auditors at a reasonable price. And the Firm will never mark-up any travel expense or charge the client for secretarial services.

  • Always be Efficient
The Firm's auditors always arrive prepared and minimize on-site interference with facility personnel and maximize productivity of all personnel involved in the audit. The Firm will leave the EHS audit report with the client before leaving the facility. Facility personnel and the client deserve to know the results immediately.

  • Be Comprehensive
The Firm's comprehensive EHS audits will not be limited to a federal regulatory review. The Firm will evaluate the nuances of state and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and agency directives, policies, and guidance on behalf of the client.

  • Be Personable
The Firm's auditors will diligently work to establish rapport with management and EHS personnel to maximize openness, communication, understanding, and concurrence throughout the EHS audit process.

  • No Surprises
The Firm will never surprise facility personnel about audit findings. And the Firm will never add findings into an audit report without first discussing the issue with the client. When appropriate, we will openly communicate our thoughts about an observation at the time the observation occurs. Consensus and understanding are key to a good audit.

  • Be Self-Sufficient
The Firm's auditors will function independently so that facility and corporate management can focus on their primary duties without excessive interruptions. The Firm can directly interface with facility personnel to plan, execute, and complete an audit on behalf of, and at the request of, a client without extensive client involvement, if desired.

  • Be Flexible
The Firm will provide EHS audit services, products, and related activities as the client desires. We will strive to achieve success without stress.

  • Always Add Value
The Firm will share its knowledge, experience, and techniques with corporate and facility personnel during the audit to improve client self-assessment skills, understanding, and improve internal audit programs. The Firm will treat the client's program as our own and will always work to improve it.
